Every day, people make decisions about their health and appearance while wading through conflicting advice: peer-reviewed research they can't easily read, marketing dressed up as science, and anecdotal forum threads of wildly variable quality.

ProofCritic brings these signals together — scientific research, systematic reviews, clinical guidelines, expert information, real-world user experience and product information — and presents them in a structured, understandable format. The goal is simple: you should be able to understand the current state of evidence in 10–20 seconds, and inspect the underlying research if you want to go deeper.

Our principles

They shape every page of this product.

Evidence over hype

What matters is what research shows — not what marketing claims or viral posts suggest.

Transparency over black-box ratings

A score you cannot interrogate is an opinion. Every rating will be traceable to its sources.

Science and experience stay separate

Scientific evidence strength and user sentiment are different signals and are never mixed.

Uncertainty should be visible

"We don't know yet" is an honest answer. Absence of evidence is not evidence of absence.

Commercial relationships never determine rankings

Where ProofCritic earns commissions, they will never influence verdicts, grades or rankings.

Current status

This is a prototype

You are looking at ProofCritic's MVP. Its purpose is to validate the concept, information architecture and visual direction before the full evidence-ingestion and scoring infrastructure is built. All numerical scores and user-review statistics are demonstration data, and research entries are sample records rather than real citations.

The structure behind it — typed data models, a methodology framework and a review-ready content pipeline — is designed to carry real, validated ratings from day one of production.

Questions or feedback? We'd love to hear from you as we build this out.
